Le Four / Oven

FR. Pour allumer le four à gaz, il faut utiliser une briquet à long bec, car il n’y a pas d’allumage automatique.

Ouvrir la porte du four.
Approcher le briquet allumé près du brûleur situé dans le trou au milieu du four.
Tourner le bouton du four sur la température souhaitée, maintenez le bouton enfoncé tout en maintenant la flamme près du brûleur.
Une fois le gaz enflammé, maintenir le bouton enfoncé pendant quelques secondes afin que la flamme reste allumée.
Relâcher ensuite doucement le bouton et vérifier que la flamme reste stable.

Si la flamme s’éteint, couper le gaz, attendre quelques secondes et recommencer l’opération.

Il n’y a pas de fonction grill sur ce four afin de préserver les batteries du bateau.

NL. Om de gasoven aan te steken, moet u een aansteker met een lange steel gebruiken, aangezien er geen automatische ontsteking is.

1. Open de ovendeur. Houd de aangestoken aansteker dicht bij de brander in het gat in het midden van de oven.

2. Draai de ovenknop naar de gewenste temperatuur, houd de knop ingedrukt en zorg ervoor dat de vlam dicht bij de brander blijft.

EN. To light the gas oven, you must use a long-nosed lighter, as there is no automatic ignition.

1. Open the oven door. Bring the lit lighter close to the burner located in the hole in the center of the oven.

2. Turn the oven knob to the desired temperature, hold the knob down, and keep the flame close to the burner.

3. Once the gas is ignited, keep the knob pressed down for a few seconds to maintain the flame. Then slowly release the knob and check that the flame remains steady.

If the flame goes out, turn off the gas, wait a few seconds, and try again. This oven does not have a grill function to conserve the boat's batteries.

Chauffage / Heating

FR. Pour allumer le poêle à mazout :

Tourner le bouton sur la position 6.
Attendre que le fond du poêle se remplisse de mazout. Cela peut prendre 1 à 2 minutes.
Quand il y a suffisamment de mazout au fond, allumer une allumette ou un morceau de papier, puis le déposer dans le fond du poêle pour enflammer le mazout.
Lorsque le feu a bien pris, fermer la fenêtre du poêle.
Remettre ensuite le bouton sur la position 2, sinon il fera beaucoup trop chaud.

NL. Om de oliekachel aan te steken:

FR. Pour éteindre le poêle :

Tourner le bouton jusqu’au bout, en allant au-delà de la position 0, jusqu’à entendre un clic.

EN. To turn off the stove: Turn the knob all the way past the 0 position until you hear a click. This is very important: if you don't hear the click, the fuel oil will continue to flow.

L'eau / Water

FR. Le chauffe-eau fonctionne environ deux heures par jour.

L’eau devient bien chaude, mais il faut laisser couler un moment avant qu’elle arrive jusqu’au robinet.

Quand elle arrive, elle doit être bien chaude.

Attention : les réservoirs d’eau sont limités. Ce n’est pas comme à la maison.

Par exemple, en général, on peut prendre 3 à 4 douches dans la journée, en plus de faire un peu de vaisselle.

Au-delà, il est possible que l’eau chaude ou la réserve d’eau ne suffisent plus.

NL. De boiler draait ongeveer twee uur per dag. Het water wordt lekker warm, maar je moet hem wel even laten lopen voordat het uit de kraan komt. Als het er eenmaal is, moet het erg heet zijn. FR. L’eau à bord est très filtrée, mais elle n’est pas potable.

EN. The water on board is highly filtered, but it is not drinkable. It can be used without any problem for showering, washing dishes, and laundry, but it must not be drunk.

Toilette / toilet

FR. La chasse d’eau peut parfois couler en continu, selon la présence de sédiments dans l’eau de la Meuse.

Si cela arrive, il faut jouer légèrement avec le bouton de la chasse pour qu’elle se referme correctement. Si cela ne suffit pas, il est possible de fermer le petit robinet d’arrivée d’eau des toilettes.

EN.The toilet may sometimes run continuously, depending on the presence of sediment in the Meuse River. If this happens, gently operate the flush button until the toilet closes properly. If this doesn't work, you can close the small water supply valve to the toilet. This is important to prevent the pressure booster pump from running continuously, which could drain the batteries.
